One of our favorite vintage shopping parties is returning to Downtown this weekend. Style star- and celebrity stylist-beloved market A Current Affair takes place this Saturday and Sunday, bringing over 70 top-notch vendors to the Cooper Design Space's 11th floor penthouse.
Happening from 12 to 6pm both days, expect to find clothing, footwear, jewelry, and accessories spanning from the Victorian Age to the modern era from exhibitors hailing from across the U.S., including LA's Passenger, Oakland's Mercy Vintage, NYC's Amarcord, Tucson's Desert Vintage, Massachusett's Strange Desires, and many others.
The host for #ACAinLA is celebrity stylist and self-professed "fashion activist" B. Åkerlund, who's styled megastars like Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears, to name just a few. She'll be creating 10 head-to-toe looks from pieces found at the vintage show.
Dig it? Tickets are $15 for general single day admission, $35 for a weekend pass, and $28 for early 10am entry on Saturday; buy them at the door or online here.
