Now's around the time we tend to start falling off the fitness resolution wagon, but mixing up your sweat routine can help you fight that urge — and if you're seeking another option for building those biceps while carving out some cardio time, consider swinging by BoxUnion's newest LA outpost.

The fitness boxing studio opened its second location last week at the revamped Robertson Plaza (right on the border of West Hollywood and Beverly Grove), where its beats-powered, total-body workouts kick off as early as 6 a.m. The 45-minute Signature class (which is fit for all levels) combines high-intensity moves, strength training, shadow boxing, and individual heavy bag training, ensuring that you're punching and jabbing your way to a sculpted physique.

The sched also includes a hip-hop morning class brings down the lights (and the house) with an East Coast-inspired version of the signature class, a one-hour Burn sesh that adds an extra 15 minutes of sweat-inducing moves, and the Signature + Yoga workout that includes a wind-down of flows.

Not a pro puncher? Newbies will get help gearing up (you can rent gloves for $3 and buy wraps for $7), and BoxUnion's first-timer ambassadors will teach you how to get your fists an stance in proper form.

Pricing ranges from $30 for single classes and first-timer starter packs (two classes plus free gloves rental) to $100 for five-class packages to $750 for 30 classes; see the full list here and book your next sweat sesh here.
