Ice cream, candy, oversized perverted emojis: Just when you thought those interactive installation designers had thought of everything comes The Egg House, a new pop-up experience that's bringing the popular breakfast food (sorry, vegans) in Instagram-ready form to L.A. starting next week.
After débuting in New York last year and popping up in Shanghai, China, the photo-ready space is coming to West Hollywood from Wednesday, March 20 through Sunday, April 28 just steps away from Melrose Place (and just in time for your Easter selfies). Inspired by "the dreams of an egg named Ellis," the adorable house will feature interactive rooms, from a kitchen where you'll find a life-sized carton of eggs to a neon garden featuring a giant eggshell swing and even a "Caviar Pool" filled with white and yellow balls, to name just a few cute corners.
Guest can also expect to enjoy eggy treats from tasty vendors and a gift shop filled with merch, but note that only credit cards are accepted. As far as entry, egg enthusiasts will be allowed inside every 30 minutes to ensure that you won't be scrambling (ha!) to snap every photo opp in a crowd.
Sound egg-cellent? (We had to, sorry.) Admission is $30 for adults and $22 for seniors and kids 10 and under (children 2 and under are free) plus fees, and entry is from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Get a taste of what to expect and peep @theegghouse's feed, then book your visit and buy tickets in advance online here.
