Design Festival (multiple locations): Now in its ninth year, the inspiring city-wide design celebration will highlight architecture, designers, and artists across a range of mediums at L.A.'s coolest destinations. Expect installations, panel discussions, pop-up shops, and many more happenings, such as free admission to the Museum of Neon Art in Glendale (Thursday and Friday); Row DTLA exhibits like Intro/LA, a Saturday night block party featuring music and drinks ($20), and a lounge and marketplace featuring pop-ups by L.A. Originals and The Dieline; Block Shop Textiles' pop-up shop and mural reveal party at Platform (Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.); Helms Bakery Design District's wellness expo (Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.); and retail therapy from 14 L.A.-made brands at The Goods Market at Bend Goods' L.A. showroom; to name just a few. Summer Concerts at The Bloc (DTLA): Enjoy live music every third Thursday of the month at cool shopping center The Bloc's 21+ summer concerts in Downtown. Hamish Anderson opens the show and Jasper Bones headlines the nighttime concert, plus DJ Novela Carmel will spin beats in between sets. Beer, wine, and cocktails as well as food are also available for purchase; tickets are just $5 and can be purchased online here.

FigFest Concert Series at Figat7th: Buscabulla and Reynta Tropical (DTLA): Legendary L.A. venue teams up with the DTLA shopping center for a summer concert series featuring local bands and KCRW DJs every Friday in June. International Yoga Day at Alo (multiple locations): The L.A.-based activewear brand celebrating International Yoga day with free workouts, bites, and gifting at all three of its L.A. boutiques. The Beverly Hills store will offer a vinyasa flow for all levels at 8:30 a.m. and Sculpt Yoga at 10 a.m. followed by Osea facials. At The Grove, the festivities kick off with an all-levels vinyasa flow at The Park at 12 p.m. (followed by Cryo Soul facials, Erewhon bites, and astrology readings); there'll be another DJ-powered class at 5:30 p.m. with wellness topics served beforehand.
