You Can Create Nail Polish Inspired by Your Fave Photo with Orly's New Online Color Lab

Bored beauty buffs, rejoice.

Stylish lifestyle centers and local flea markets aren't the only things you can shop during the era of social distancing. Like other "non-essential" salons, Orly Color Labs has temporarily closed its manicure bar on Beverly Boulevard — but that isn't stopping the cruelty-free brand from whipping up personalized 12-free colors for quarantined beauty buffs.

The Van Nuys-based company is now offering its custom nail color service online for $20 per bottle plus shipping. You'll be able to choose a shade, adjust the brightness and saturation, and then name your hand-picked hue. Although you won't be able to select a finish (which is offered during the in-store process), one exclusive online feature is that you can upload your own photo and create a polish inspired by its color palette.

Only 30 people will have access per day, so you'll have to sign up at Orly's website with your phone number to join the queue. Once it's your turn, you'll receive a text with a link to get started.

In the meantime, check out what it's like to create a custom polish IRL at Orly's nail color bar, then sign up for the service at the brand's website here.
