The range is comprised of neutral-hued bags that pair with practically everything.

Two effortless Los Angeles brands are making it easier for minimalist-cool Angelenos to restock their cold-weather wardrobes. Cult-favorite L.A. bag designer Agnes Baddoo has reimagined her beloved utilitarian silhouette for a new collaboration with NakedCashmere — and it's a match made in neutral-hued heaven.

The two-piece luxury leather bag collection ($380 to $825) is comprised of the L.A. designer's signature Sac 2 carryall and a convertible EMF-lined Belt Sac that can also be used as a clutch. Both pieces are 100% biodegradable — not that you'd need to worry, as they're designed to hold up for forever — and come in what Baddoo calls the "super neutral" taupe, which blends seamlessly with the disruptive accessory brand's fall range of cozy staples.

Like many a partnership, the collaboration came to life through a friend of a friend. "We connected through a mutual friend, [acclaimed makeup artist] Tina Lipman who we have been using since we started NakedCashmere," founder Leslie Gifford tells UncoverLA.

Adds Baddoo: "My friend Tina Lipman was carrying my Sac2 bag to a NakedCashmere photoshoot where [the brand's vice president] Jodi saw it, and apparently the two of them had a 'Eureka!' moment. Jodi reached out and the rest is history."

"Agnes has an amazing reputation and a large following with her handbag and accessory line," Gifford continues. "We knew right away that she had the right aesthetic to partner with a small collection of her signature leather tote bag and belt bag. We chose those two pieces and then gave Agnes our color card to create an exclusive mink color which goes with our fall 2020 collection."
