Cuyana's Sleek Leather Goods Are Taking a SoCal Road Trip — Next Stop, Glendale

After kicking off its first-ever mobile showroom tour at Platform in Culver City (did you catch our preview on IG Stories?), Cuyana is now parking its minimalist-chic traveling boutique at Americana at Brand. Dubbed Cuyana in Motion, the store is holding court at the Glendale lifestyle center now through Sept. 5 before continuing to three more SoCal stops.

The shipping container-esque shop showcases the brand's best-selling accessories ($75 to $495) that follow its "fewer, better" ethos. Expect to shop pieces such as the Oversized Double Loop bag, Classic Tote, Panama Hat, Travel Case Set, jewelry, and small leather goods in limited edition colors. Purchases will then be shipped directly to your door.

The shipping container-esque shop is a collaboration between the San Francisco-based brand and Toyota, which is rolling out the experimental retail space as part of its Agile Space concept. Cuyana's pop-up store is just one way that Toyota's modular spaces are reimagining urban spaces (such as Platform's park) by installing the temporary structures and repurposing them for retail and offices, to name just a few.

Cuyana in Motion will then head to Row DTLA from Sept. 14 to Oct. 17, Fashion Island in Newport Beach from Oct. 26 to Jan. 2, 2022, and Irvine Spectrum from Jan. 11 to Feb. 14, 2022.
