See A Real Live Mermaid at This Week's Siren-Inspired Pop-Up

It's happening in Hollywood starting this Thursday.

We don't need an immersive experience to know that ice cream and candy and even the elusive idea of happiness really exist, but they sure do make for a pretty #picsoritdidn'thappen moment. Because LA loves an Instagram-worthy exhibit, Freeform and POPUSUGAR are teaming for The Mermaid Museum — and you'll have to see it IRL (or all over your social media feeds) to believe it.

Inspired by the young adult TV and streaming network's soon-to-debut series Siren, the ethereal event takes over Hollywood's Goya Studios starting this Thursday, March 22 for a four-day selfie wonderland that'll bring the show's Bristol Cove to life. The fantasy world begins in a fishing store where not all is what it seems, then continues with a 360-degree underwater projection room, a dreamy seascape photo illusion, an interactive wall covered with "mermaid scales," then culminates with a real live mermaid.

Intrigued? The Mermaid Room runs from 3 to 9pm this Thursday and Friday and from 12 to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. It's free to attend but RSVP is required; save your spot by registering here.
