Airgraft's First-Ever Pop-Up on Fairfax Is For Tech-Obsessed Cannabis Connoisseurs

The Canada-based startup's clean vape allows users control their pull, see their oil's exact ingredients, and more.

Stats-savvy cannabis connoisseurs can now nerd out over their CBD and THC intake and control exactly how much they consume thanks to Airgraft, a just-launched startup that recently debuted its clean, app-powered vaporizer. Starting today, Angelenos can be the first to get their hands on the sleek device IRL at the Montreal-based company's first-ever pop-up shop on Fairfax.

Holding court now through Thursday, September 19, the two-week Art of Clean Vapor pop-up offers Airgraft's new vape ($68), which connects to an Android or iOS app that allows users to specify exactly how much they want to inhale, see the precise amount of ingredients in each draw, learn more about the origins of their oils, and even lock their device.

As far as the hardware, the vaporizer features a ceramic heating element that evenly heats their full-spectrum oil pods (which are made of food-safe materials to ensure that there are no contaminants or heavy metals), resulting in the smoothest, burn-free pull.

The brand teamed with artisanal cannabis companies for its debut offerings, which contain no fillers or artificial flavors. Currently available three 500mg pods by Oregon-based Marley Bankoff and San Diego-based Wellgreens: Relax & Recover (a CBD-powered oil for mellowing out), Liftoff (an uplifting formula with THC), and Unwind ($45 each). Once Airgraft users are plugged into the app, they'll be able to see the complete third-part lab reports of their oils, too.

Back to that L.A. pop-up: The space also houses a terpenes lab that'll school visitors on every aspect of the plant, and there's a greenery-filled rock garden in the back for enjoying Airgraft's merch. During its L.A. stay, the brand will also host private events such as panel discussions with former NBA star Al Harrington, a yoga and sound bath night, and more collaborations.

Airgraft was founded in 2018 by an all-star team of engineers, designers, scientists, and technologists, including pros who've launched luxury labels like Rihanna's Fenty, among others. Up next, it's set to announce another oil collaboration with a well-known cannabis brand.

Can't make it down to the shop in time? Airgraft is also available via Emjay's white glove cannabis delivery service here as well as at The Pottery.
