Downtown's got some new budtenders in town. The latest to join the Arts District's cool cannabis scene is stylish Sweet Flower, which has conveniently opened its third L.A. dispensary next door to game wonderland Two Bit Circus (consider it quite the post-smoke playground).

The store stocks medicinal and recreational products such as concentrates, pre-rolls, flowers, Pax pods, edibles, topicals, tinctures, and accessories from a range of luxury and wellness cannabis brands, including Apothecanna, Aster Farms, Beboe, Besito, Dosist, Humble Flower, Kiva, Lowell Herb Go., Papa & Barkley, Sunday Goods, and more. Like the retailer's other locations on Melrose on the outskirts of West Hollywood and on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City (which both opened earlier this spring), shoppers can also order online to get their goods delivered.

Flowers range from $15 to $25 per gram or $30 and up per 1/8 oz., single pre-rolls for $9 and up and multi-packs for $43 and up, vapes for $31 to $75, concentrates for $15 to $55, and tinctures, topicals, and edibles (like teas, chocolates, mints, and more) for $4 to $93, to name just a handful of pricing examples.

The brand was founded in 2018 by Tim Dodd, who has previously held corporate strategy and development roles at media companies like Technicolor, Warner Bros., and Time Warner. The rest of Sweet Flower's team hail from the fashion, fitness, and tech worlds, including from Armani, Google, Equinox, Snap, and SoulCycle.

Up next is Sweet Flower's fourth L.A. outpost in Westwood slated to open next year, so take note, maryjane-loving UCLA students. (The retailer is also eyeing Pasadena — stay tuned to see if those plans are a go.)

Sweet Flower, 614 Mateo St, L.A., 90021; open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily; (213) 377-9420
