Good news for glow-loving Angelenos. After shuttering all of its brick-and-mortar stores last year, Glossier is opening new boutiques in Los Angeles as well as in London and Seattle.
The cult-favorite beauty brand tells us that it's opening an L.A. outpost this fall not far from its former Melrose Place location (which debuted in 2018). In a recent blog post, founder and CEO Emily Weiss explains that the trio of boutiques is "the culmination of everything we've learned from our prior offline experiences, and like these experiences, they look at each city through Glossier-colored glasses." (We're guessing that also includes 'grammable elements, like that photogenic hidden canyon.)
"Each of these stores is designed to inspire everyone to find joy and confidence in their personal beauty style, with a customer journey centered around self-discovery and belonging. People first, products second," Weiss continues.
Glossier Head of People for Retail Hector Camacho adds that the company is looking forward to building employee experiences rooted in "connection, leadership, communication, growth, and engagement, each in a way that is equitable and inspiring." (Read more all about that at Camacho's blog post.)
Stay tuned for more — in the meantime, you can catch us scouting the neighborhood for Glossier's new L.A. store.
