The Seoul-based retailer's new stores in Pasadena and Century City will soon be joined by an outpost in Torrance, too.

At long last, K-beauty superfans can finally shop Olive Young IRL. The Korean retailer opened its first-ever U.S. flagship in Pasadena on May 29, with the second outpost arriving on June 13 at Westfield Century City, where shoppers can get a voucher for exclusive samples when they order the Olive Young Glow Matcha Latte at the neighboring Chamberlain Coffee.

The Seoul-headquartered retailer's Old Town Pasadena store (58 West Colorado Blvd.) spans 8,647 square feet, while the Westside shop is 2,694 square feet – and both offer thousands of products from more than 400 brands for every skin care concern imaginable alongside cosmetics, hair care, fragrances, bath and body, beauty tools, and (our favorite) supplements and snacks. There's also a dedicated sun care section, colored contacts from Hapa Kristin and an adorable charm bar filled with lip colors and glosses.

While some of the brands can also be found at Sephora, Ulta and K-Town beauty boutiques, this marks the first time that K-beauty fans (and the K-beauty-curious) can experience the international retailer's immersive, hands-on spaces. The complimentary Skin Scan offers personalized product recommendations based on an in-depth analysis of your skin, the Boost & Glow Bar features testers of buzzy essences and serums, the Prep Bar allows guests to try best-selling toner pads and sunscreens and the Beauty Lab offers hands-on skin care lessons, hair services and more.

And while K-beauty brands are known for their highly effective SPFs, Olive Young's L.A. boutiques currently don't offer formulas available overseas due to FDA regulations. However, that may change soon, as the agency just approved bemotrizinol (BEMT), which has been in sun care products in Asia and Europe since the '90s, per PBS.

Beyond beloved sunscreens, expect to find viral products like Biodance's Bio-Collagen sheet masks, VT's Reedle Shot, TirTir's Mask Fit Red Cushion foundation, Ma:nyo's Pure Cleansing Oil, I'm From Rice Toners, Cosrx snail essences, Medicube's multi-tasking microcurrent devices and others alongside more cult-favorite K-Beauty names such as Age20's, Anua, Beauty of Joseon, Belif, Cell Fusion, Clio, Cosrx, Dr. Althea, Dr. Jart+, Foodology, Fwee, Etude, Kaja, Manya, Mixsoon, Parnell, Rejuran, Rom&nd, Round Lab, Skin1004, Sungboon Editor, Tfit, Torriden, Vitalbeautie and others.

The stores also feature U.S. retail mainstays from American and European brands, such as L'Oreal Paris, Lancome, Coach, Garnier, CeraVe, Urban Decay, Maybelline, La Roche-Posay, Aveeno, L.A.'s own Alleyoop, and others. (OY notably doesn't stock all Amorepacific brands, such as Laniege, Sulwhasoo and Innisfree.)

In the supplements and snacks section, there are d'Alba's Veganery peptides, BB Lab collagen powders, Esther Formula daily beauty strips, Super Matcha teas, Turtle Chips, Buldak ramen, Delight Project bagel chips, Proteeone protein pouches, drinks by Ito Zen and Will Zero, and so much more. Shoppers can also discover other finds, such as travel accessories from Wiggle Wiggle, Sanrio bag charms and K-pop vinyls.

Also, unlike OY's stores in Korea, the L.A. and Century City locations will highlight ingredients and products that U.S. shoppers may not yet be familiar with, such as salmon DNA (PDRN), madecassoside, peptides, glutathione, hyaluronic acid and others. Digital screens showcase the benefits of brands such as Mediheal, S. Nature, Bioheal BOH (one of Olive Young's in-house brands).

Olive Young (which originates from "all live young") debuted in 1999 in South Korea, where it has more than 1,380 stores. The retailer's popularity in the U.S. was fueled by TikTok and the rise of K-beauty trends. Per WWD, the company plans to open at least five more stores in California by 2027, including at the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, this fall.
