Jennifer Meyer's fine jewelry has adorned the necks and wrists of Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba and countless other stars – and now the designer has dropped a fall fashion capsule to pair with her luxe accessories.
The Hollywood-loved jeweler has teamed with L.A.-based label Citizens of Humanity on a six-piece capsule ($298 to $1,298) of fall wardrobe staples. Available in sizes XS-XL and 23-34, range comprises everyday essentials such as a lace-trimmed Japanese satin camisole and slip dress, straight-leg jeans made from regenerative cotton in an eco-dyed light indigo wash (a new colorway exclusive to the collab), a blue Japanese flannel button-down shirt, straight-leg black leather pants (a new style for CoH), and an oversized black leather bomber jacket.
Meyer teamed with CoH creative director Marianne Gallagher McDonald to design the range, which was inspired by both women's California roots. When we sat down together, it was clear how much overlap there already was in our instincts," the 49-year-old jeweler says in a statement. "That California casual, day-into-night aesthetic is exactly the spirit I keep in mind when I design all of my jewelry, elevated but never trying too hard, pieces that get better with wear and pick up your own history over time."
Adds McDonald, "From our very first conversation, it was clear that Jen and I shared a similar philosophy about getting dressed. The pieces you reach for most are the ones that feel effortless, beautifully made, and become more personal and better over time. This collection is a reflection of that shared point of view, blending timeless silhouettes with elevated fabrics to create a wardrobe that feels both luxurious and incredibly wearable, no matter the season."
Meyer notes that the pieces "aren't clothes you dress around; they're clothes you live in. I think the Jennifer Meyer x Citizens of Humanity collection accomplished that so well, and it was truly a joy to design. I know these are pieces I'll live in and reach for every season, year after year."
Meyer recently unveiled her reopened boutique at Palisades Village, which welcomed visitors back last month after nearly 18 months of renovations due to damage from the Palisades Fire. (Speaking of warm welcomes, the designer gave birth to her first child with her fiancé, music mogul Geoff Ogunlesi, in June; she shares two children with ex-husband, actor Toby Maguire.)
